Time passes, and things change, but Bataleon`s Evil Twin is always there! This one is an absolute must-have board if you are serious about park snowboarding. We got a bit adventurous and went to Jackson Hole to test out the Bataleon Evil Twin plus version.

It did not disappoint. We absolutely loved the model because there is more snap to it compared to the original Evil Twin which means it is more suited for big jumps.

Pros
  • light & fast
  • super responsive
  • triple base technology construction
Cons
  • not for total beginners

This snowboard is great not just for the park, but for the resort and pow as well. Seems like all types of terrain and conditions go well with it. The plus model is the enhanced version of Evil Twin with more carbon incorporated within to make it more responsive but maintained not to make it heavy. The board has a faster base and is lighter, so the pressing gets easier and the pop is incredible! Do not think it over, you just cannot go wrong with Bataleon.

Most Versatile
2. CAPiTA Mega Merc

New Age Progressive, directional / 0.5" set back - this board is inspired by the on-slope versatility of the Mercury series. This model, Mega Merc mimics its proven technical design lines while packing a powerful punch of serious construction upgrades.

Resort V2 Profile - This revolutionary all-terrain shape provides the best of both worlds. It has a raised camber platform  and Flat Kick tip and tail arcs.

Fsc 3d Termo polymer Starship Core - Utilizing an advanced electronic sorting system allows us to select mega-premium, reforestation-certified, Poplar graded by weight and grain consistency.

If you haven`t got the chance to ride this bad boy, then you do not understand the versatility and all-terrain shape this model provides. It features the Wah-Pow! Flat Kick technology at the nose and tail, has a positive camber underfoot and uses inserts to maintain raised camber platform. It gradually becomes a reversed camber before reaching the nose and tail. This makes the transitions fast and gives  better overall control.

Pros
  • stable and fast
  • lightweight
  • versatile
  • plenty of pop
Cons
  • a bit stiff
  • not the best choice for super deep snow

Mega Merc is ideal for all mountain freeride and powder snowboarding, but will do just as well in park rides, and more than good in performance rides. It is a directional twin, aggressive MTN camber board that`s smooth rather than snappy. The shape makes it perfect for deeper snow, and the rocker ends give you the float when you want it.

The carving was really easy to do, but I preferred short carving. The gliding and stability of this board made the ride effortless, so if you want some aggressive stiff board going down the mountain, this should be your choice.

3. Ride Kink

This design is uniquely formulated for each model based on its shape and riding style.

Stone Ground Base High-end sintered 4000 Ptex base material this model uses is more durable, harder and faster than extruded.

Performance: Core High strength. Aspen is combined with Bamboo and lightweight Paulownia wood to provide the perfect balance of strong and light.

Jed Andersen`s choice is Kink, so that should say a lot about this board especially when it comes to jibs. The style of this snowboard is going to catch your eye because it`s so fun, with cool graphics and lots of colours. It is a traditional camber board, but you will notice some rocker elements on the ends (the nose and tail are a bit curvy).

With its medium flex, it is great for both riding in the park and doing some freestyle tricks, but it is also good if you wanna shred the mountain.

Pros
  • great for jibs
  • durable
  • stable and predictable
  • camber underfoot
  • medium soft
Cons
  • not ideal for carving

Since it has a softer flex it is going to be easy to press but at the same time this board will allow you pop when you need it. Ollies were quite easy to do as well, but keep in mind that this Ride Kink goes progressively stiffer as you come closer to the middle of the board. You get most of the flex on the tail and nose and you can twist it to a certain decent level (has a bit of torsional flex).

4. Jones Mountain Twin

New super durable material made from Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW-PE) and carbon.

Base is easily repairable, highly wax absorbent and wicked fast.

Traction Tech 3.0 features three bumps per edge (front binding, board center, back binding). The middle bump is slightly bigger than the outside bumps for better grip.

A unique rocker/camber flex pattern defined by evenly balanced tip and tail rocker and camber between the bindings.

This is simply one of the best boards out there and deserves to be on any snowboard review list, now and always. It is among our favorites because of its stability and versatility. On/off-piste, backcountry, freestyle, carving, pow days - you name it! This board can take it all! The 3D contouring means that the underfoot is flat with the spoon style of the arcs, with 4mm spoon bevel in the tail and nose. The design changes from flat to spoon at the rocker part.

Pros
  • good on landings
  • easy to pop
  • de-tuned edges
  • solid float in pow
Cons
  • not for choppy snow terrain

When discussing improved technology, we should mention the Forever Flex technology which gives stability to the flex and rocker for a lifetime. Also, all Jones snowboards can be taken to the pow right from the shop - both tip and tail are factory de-tuned.

The jumps are solid, it pops pretty good, being lightweight does not compromise the stability and it is maneuverable. Jones Mountain Twin is the right board for all snowboarders who like to do a bit of every style and terrain, and rely on just one board.

This one is becoming a classic. You can really rely on this board for most terrains and thanks to its contour you can easily do some Xtreme riding. A great thing to mention, especially if you dig ecology (and we all should), is the eco-friendliness that is connected with LibTech.

They are eco-sensitive, use renewable eco woods, low voc resin systems, bio beans top sheets and no toxic lacquer coating, to name a few. They are the most environmental board factory there is (Mervin Made).

Pros
  • smooth and light
  • birch internal sidewalls
  • eco sublimated bio - beans top
  • all terrain type
Cons
  • flex could be softer
  • not suitable for starters

The flawless T.Rice Orca is a rocker-camber hybrid adapted to all conditions. It has an amazing grip on ice and is not chattery. You can do lots of pop without the hassle and shred powder going super fast. The board glides and gives great speed, but is also very stable and you can try park tricks of your choice. It is a bit on the stiff side, so we would not recommend it for beginners, it is more intermediate and board ideal for resort and back country.

6. Nitro T1

The undisputed reigning park champion has won more awards than most because it was designed and continuously improved by park riders worldwide.

What created the T1 the most respected freestyle board on the market is its comfortable ride, great durability, and admirable performance.

This season we have made a step further and worked with artist Fabian Fuchs.

This legendary freestyle board of choice has been curated over years of technical mastery and evolutionary design by some of the best park riders worldwide for 19 years.

Nitro is a well-known name in the snowboard community that`s been around for almost two decades. Their T1 model is recognizable and we all know it is perfect primarily for park rides. You can also ride it all-mountain style with the same ease and confidence.

It is cam-out-camber with a radial sidecut. The typical park shape means it is getting stiffer reaching the middle and has softer tips and there is lots of torsional flex for better twisting.

Pros
  • durable
  • admirable performance
  • great pop power
  • exceptional for park rides
Cons
  • too light for back-country

This model is the perfect snowboard for men and should be right up your alley if you are a park enthusiast. This is a twin camber freestlyle board with that cam-out-camber touch that means it is smoothly transitioning into the rocker in the tip and tail. It is snappy enough and gives the pop you need (poppy PowerCore). It is awesome when it comes to ollies since it is designed that way and is one of the best options for jibbing.

The Shadowban, a model that the whole team was really excited to try and ride. That touch of edginess in its style promised us some fun and it didn`t let us down. This board rips! There is lots of playfulness involved in this directional twin board and you are going to love it. It is versatile and maneuverable, just what more do you need for a ride? Some of the testers did say it could be a bit stiffer, but it did not make an issue.

Pros
  • great board control
  • lightweight
  • stable
  • great for everyday rides
Cons
  • heavier riders might find it soft

This snowboard is built with one purpose in mind - versatility. If you are looking for that one board that can put up with everything, this could be your lucky pick. It is a good choice for the everyday ride, the board has a solid grip and is made to last.

The Shadowban is designed to be reliable anywhere on the mountain or in the park, it is a hybrid that is more camber than rocker. It has Standard Camber profile and Carbon Array 3™ which makes it lighter and ideal for pop.

Well, this is certainly one of the best boards on the market these days and you will make a great choice if you opt for this Capita model. It is designed for performance and park rides, but works awesome for urban, powder and all-MTN styles as well. The twin flex and camber type allow you to get the pop when you need it and give a high level of predictability and response. Underfoot is positive camber with Wah-Pow! Flat Kick technology at the ends (just like the Mega Merc).

Pros
  • fantastic style
  • snappy
  • predictable & stable
  • great for carving
  • scan option
Cons
  • feels somewhat locked in
  • not for deep pow

The option to connect your phone with your board using the scan option is a nice touch that Capita Snowboards added to their models. Thanks to the NFC chip that is embedded into the nose of a board you can now get info about warranty, snowboard registration, product details and more. The amount of flex is pretty decent and the stability is more than solid.

You can really let yourself down the hill and enjoy some high-level speed without worrying about the board. This board really shines when it comes to short and medium-level carves, so if you love carving, you are definitely going to love this Capita model!

Artist, creator, and snowboard media designer vet, Aaron James Draplin is back with his beautiful bold lines and attention to detail on this year's Shiloh.

This is another board made for all kinds of terrain and for snowboarders who want to try everything and use only one snowboard. It has a medium flex and offers a poppy ride. Marketed as highly versatile for all styles, we do think it is maybe not the best option for park rides. Some of our members found it a bit too stiff, so this board might be difficult to handle and hard to control for beginners and lower intermediates.

Pros
  • solid at uneven terrain
  • awesome for riding switch
  • well balanced
  • ideal for carving and turning
Cons
  • a bit stiff
  • not floaty enough for powder

Shiloh Camber is snappy enough, can do jumps with it, and you can get the pops easily. The carving and gliding were also a trait of this board, you can really enjoy speedy rides. We did get a part of bumpy terrain and that wasn`t an issue, which is a plus. This board maybe isn`t the best choice for those deep pow days, because we have found it is a bit hard to balance and control the ride in the deeper snow. It has to do with the shape of the board, it misses some elements of the rocker to make it float better.

10. YES Greats

This Yes snowboard model is a true twin board.

It is still the most amazing carving twin you will ever lay an edge on. An asymmetrical twin with asymflex and asymmetrical MidBite added to the opposing side-cut specs.

The end result is a high performing twin that delivers better edge hold and greater stability on landings that will leave a permanent grin on your face.

If you are a terrain park ripper or free-rider who likes to switch a lot, this could be your perfect fit. This model is the right option for all those snowboarders who want to go wild all over the mountain, but also want to show off some skills and tricks in the park. It is a twin hybrid camber board that is asymmetrical; goofy or regular stance- just pick one and switch faster than ever before. This snowboard model is great for women and men.

Pros
  • amazing carving
  • easy spins and pop
  • great for jumps (small and big ones)
  • effortless switch
Cons
  • not a deep pow master

In our opinion, not the ideal deck for some deep snow conditions, but works pretty solid in some shallow pow. It is not too difficult to handle and control, but we wouldn`t recommend it to total beginners. It is not the snappiest model out there, but it gives you just what you need. It was super fun carving on this model and the turning was done effortlessly. I would for sure give this one 10/10 for carving (when we talk about mid-flex twin boards it totally deserves it).

11. Jones Solution Splitboard

With grip being one of the most important factors for snowboarders, this split snowboard features Traction Tech 3.0 to provide unmatched edge grip and stability on hard snow and slippery surfaces.

For solid durability, this snowboard for adults has a double density wooden core and is equipped with stainless steel plates in the nose and the tail

The Solution snowskate board is equipped with the smaller and lighter Karakoram Ultra Clip 2.0, which is an easily replaceable clip.

Jones Split snowboard is heaven for backcountry and freestyle riders. If you want to do some exploring in the wild searching for some unknown terrains with your deck beside you, look no more. This directionally shaped board with a directional rocker profile will provide lots of fun in the snow, while also giving the needed stability and confidence. It has a torsional board lock for added grip and 3D contour base for more flexibility.

Pros
  • ultra-versatile
  • great for firm snow
  • solid floater
  • lightweight
Cons
  • high price

The 3D-base contouring enables the evenly redistributed balance by designing the spoon bevel in the ends. There is 7mm of a spoon at the tail and the nose, and the underfoot is flat. The spoon shape design is used to reduce the drag of the deck tips and make the ride much smoother.

What we liked the most is the construction, because it feels like a typical board, even though it is made out of two connected parts. That is really amazing! We didn`t do any crazy trips into the wilderness, we tested it like a regular board. It was great for jumps, ollies, powder and high-speed rides down the steeps. Seems like this board can work with whatever you throw at it!

This one is a true twin board with medium flex that is most suitable for intermediate and advanced snowboarders (beginners can give it a try as well, but it can be an overwhelming experience for a novice). It shines in the park doing freestyle, so we can say this is the real park deck great for transitions and rails. Expect from this board to be snappy and get to pop easily (which is additionally enhanced with the Popster Booster). Be free to play and have fun with this Salomon gem, it is super versatile for take-offs and landings.

Pros

Here we have another board from the Mervin family which is highly associated with conscious choices, since their eco-awareness is well-known. This is a hybrid deck with a rocker in the middle transitioning to the camber. It is designed for all-mtn-freestyle rides and is on the aggressive side. This is why this GNU Riders Choice deck is more suited for advanced and expert snowboarders. It is more damp than chattery and is super snappy.

Pros
  • great for spins
  • rips side-hits
  • excels at switch transitions
  • lots of pop
Cons
  • not for jibs
  • a bit challenging press on

We wouldn`t call it a master of the pow, but showed some decent capability when handling the shallow powder, even great at some points. The improved tech of the core made it easy to do some carving, especially the short carves. Slashing and turning came effortlessly as did the ride through bumps and uneven terrain. This is a board that is basically ok for every style and terrain, but doesn`t offer anything spectacular. It is quite solid for everyday use and has to give something to every snowboarder who rides it.

14. Burton Custom X

A camber bend advocates powerful turns and poppy precision, offering snappy suspension with weight distributed evenly across the entire board for smooth, continuous edge control from tip to tail

Twin flex is perfectly symmetrical from tip to tail for a balanced ride that's equally versatile regular or switch

Burton Custom X is another model dedicated to experts and advanced snowboarders. It excels at all-mountain rides, is solid for powder and is not best suited for the park (but can handle it). Though it is versatile and can be used for all terrains, if you plan on staying in the park maybe choose another one. This deck is born for the mountains and that is where it shines.

The classic directional shape with a little longer front than the back is designed to concentrate pop in the tail. At the same time, the longer nose provides plenty of float for the powder. This deck gives you control and flow and can smash any condition or terrain.

Pros
  • predictable
  • great grip
  • responsive but dominant
  • crazy fast
Cons
  • not for deep snow
  • not for beginners

This snowboard has a dominant and fun personality, if you know how to ride it. It can be playful, but is not really built for cruising around the resort. It has the power and is aggressive, so it is not suitable for beginners or even intermediate riders. Snowboarders who are willing to push their limits to become an expert should think about getting this precious deck. It is a bit demanding to ride, but it will offer one of the fastest rides if you are ready for some serious hill bombing!

Pow Shredder
15. Jones Hovercraft

Ideal for pow slashing, crud busting and slaloming trees.

Its unique, compact shape matches a short tail with a long sidecut so you can rip turns of any size. The Hovercraft is designed to be ridden shorter than your average freeride board as the trim shape packs serious surface area in a small package.

For serious float in any snow condition, the Hovercraft features a directional rocker profile and a 3D Contour Base 3.0, and for added edge grip it has Traction Tech 3.0 edges.

Hovercraft is a real powder master. This snowboard can plow through almost anything and do it effortlessly. It is designed for all snow conditions, and is a bit shorter than a regular free-ride deck to provide maximum float. The shape of this board is flat in the middle going curvy towards the tail and nose transforming into a spoon-like shape. It has 3D-base contours creating the balance with the even length of the spoon bevels on the front and back (7mm).

Pros
  • excellent for carving
  • great for uneven terrain
  • good at jumps
  • stable & feels light
Cons
  • not good for switches and jibbing

The name of this board really says it all. You exactly feel like you are gliding on top of deep powder every time. The grip is awesome and great for most conditions you would want to ride in. The improved nose and tail that are now lifted make it easier to turn in snow and it is incredible how this board floats. We also enjoyed the high speed that we managed to get with Hovercraft and how it is suited for carving. So, if you like your deck to float insanely well and go super fast when carving, then this would be the board for you.

Buyers Guide: How To Choose a Right Snowboard

snowboarder

Winter is coming - are you prepared? That`s right, the season is just around the corner, so it is time to gear up! There are lots of things to think about (and buy) and just too many products on the market.

The shopping indeed can be overwhelming and we hope our review of the best snowboards helped you find the board that matches your personality and style.

It is super important to find the right connection with your snowboard and get that one that is inclined with the type of activity you prefer. This way, you can be sure that you won`t miss out on the fun on the slopes.

Whether you have been enjoying this sport for years or are you just starting out, please check this buying guide to find out the main differences between boards and how to understand product descriptions. This info can be of tremendous help once you decide to make a purchase. So, let`s glide into the world of the best snowboards!

Snowboard Types

It can be intimidating entering the shop or searching the net when you need to get appropriate gear. There are so many options and all kinds of models and brands that make it difficult to make a choice. Once you know what you are looking for, it gets so much easier. So let`s go step by step and talk about some basic snowboarding stuff. First, we should think about the type of terrain you would want to ride in. This is also the most important way to separate boards. There are lots of boards that are designed to ride well in any terrain, but they are usually divided into these categories:

  • All-Mountain

Whether you're carving up groomers, blasting through powder, or hitting the park, an all-mountain snowboard will help you ride your best. These boards are often slightly stiffer and longer than other types of snowboards, making them ideal for aggressive riding. If you're looking for a board that can do it all, an all-mountain snowboard is the way to go.

  • Freestyle

Freestyle snowboards are designed for riders who want to perform tricks and jumps. They are shorter and wider than traditional snowboards, and they have softer edges.

Freestyle snowboards are also often equipped with bindings that are positioned further back on the board, which gives the rider more control when performing tricks.

  • Park

Park snowboards are designed to provide riders with the best possible experience while shredding the park. From jibs to jumps, these boards are built to handle it all.

Whether you're just getting started or you're a seasoned pro, park snowboards can help you take your riding to the next level. So if you're looking to up your park game, don't hesitate to give one of these boards a try. They are usually shorter and have a twin tip shape, making them ideal for doing tricks. Park boards often have a softer flex, making them more forgiving when you land on rails or boxes. If you're looking to get into park riding, a park board is a great choice.

powder
  • Powder

Powder snowboards are designed to float on top of deep powder snow, providing a stable and fun platform for riding in the backcountry. These boards are usually wider than traditional boards, with a shorter nose and tail.

Pow boards often have a tapered shape, with the widest point of the board near the bindings, which helps to keep the rider's weight centered and improve floatation.

Powder snowboards are a great choice for riders looking to explore the backcountry and find untracked powder stashes.

These were the primary categories of the snowboard family, but we would like to say a few words about the extra ones as well: free-ride and split-boards.

So let`s take a quick look at them:

1. Free-ride

There are a variety of snowboards on the market, but free-ride snowboards are becoming increasingly popular. There is a lot of confusion when trying to give a definition to this one, so I just stick to this one: they are a mix of all-MTN and freestyle boards. This type is going to be the best snowboard for riders who want to explore the entire mountain and ride all types of terrain. Free-ride boards are usually longer and wider than other types of boards, which makes them more stable at high speeds. They also have a stiffer flex, which is ideal for carving and riding in powder.

    2. Split-board

Split snowboards are a type of snowboard that is designed to be used with a split binding system. This system allows the rider to attach their bindings to the board in a way that allows for a more natural stance, and also allows for easier turning and carving.

A split snowboard is a snowboard that has been cut in half lengthwise, allowing it to be ridden with either traditional snowboard bindings or alpine ski bindings. Split boards are often used by backcountry riders who want the versatility of being able to ride both uphill and downhill. Split snowboards are becoming increasingly popular, as they offer a more versatile and comfortable ride.

Camber Or Rocker? Directional or Twin?

When we talk about the curvature of the snowboard, we usually talk about camber & rocker types (and hybrid ones that are a mixture of these two), and when we think about shape we use terms as directional and twin.

      Camber snowboards

These are designed to provide a more traditional feel on the snow, and are often favored by more experienced riders. The camber design helps the board to grip the snow better, making it easier to carve turns.

Camber boards can be more difficult to control in deep powder, but they are often more responsive and offer better edge hold on hard-packed snow.

      Rocker snowboards

Rockers have a slight curvature in the nose and tail, which makes them easier to turn and maneuver on the slopes. These boards are ideal for beginner and intermediate riders who want to improve their carving and riding abilities. Rocker boards are also great in powder, as they float better and provide a more forgiving ride.

      Directional snowboards

These are boards that are designed to be ridden primarily in one direction. This means that they typically have a nose that is longer than the tail, and they are often stiffer than all-mountain or freestyle boards. Directional boards are great for carving turns and cruising down the mountain, and they are the best choice for riders who want to primarily ride groomed runs.

      Directional Twin Shape

There is no obvious difference between this and a true twin board, but they are not the same. The directional twin deck has a setback stance (circa 20mm) and the nose is a bit longer than the tail.

      True Twin snowboards

These twin boards are great for those who want to ride both powder and groomers. With a twin tip, you can ride switch (backward) and land jumps and tricks easier. You can also get more air time when hitting a jump. If you want to learn how to ride powder, a twin board is a great choice because it will help you stay on top of the snow.

      What Is Flex In Snowboards?

The flex of a snowboard determines how the board will perform in different conditions or to put it simply-how flexible is the board. A board with more flex will be more playful and forgiving, while a snowboard with less flex will be more stable and responsive.

The amount of flex you want in your board will depend on your riding style and preference. If you're looking for a board that you can take anywhere and ride everything, then a snowboard with medium flex is a good choice. We have two types of flex:

      1. Longitudinal-when you see the info about snowboard flex it is usually about this one (the levels are usually described as soft, stiff and medium). Longitudinal flex shows the flexibility measure from nose to tail.
      2. Torsional-in this case, the flexibility is observed from edge to edge (the width).

      Snowboard Size

When sizing a snowboard, you will need to take into account your weight, height, and boot size. To start, you will need to measure your weight and height. Once you have these numbers, you can consult a snowboard sizing chart to find the right board size for you.

For example, a person who is 5'2" and weighs 120 pounds will need a different size board than a person who is 6'0" and weighs 200 pounds.

In addition to weight and height, you will also need to take your boot size into account. A board that is too large can be difficult to control, while a board that is too small can limit your ability to perform certain tricks. A good rule of thumb is to pick a board that's between your chin and nose in length.

      Snowboard Stance

There are two main types of snowboard stances: regular and goofy. In a regular stance, the left foot is positioned forward on the board, and in a goofy stance, the right foot is positioned forward. Some people prefer one stance over the other, while others are able to ride equally well in both. There are a few things to consider when choosing your stance.

First, think about which foot you feel most comfortable putting forward. If you're not sure, try both and see which feels better.

Second, consider your riding style. If you're more of a freestyle rider, then a regular stance may be better for you. If you're more of an all-mountain or free-ride rider, then a goofy stance might be the best fit.

      Conclusion

In this Guide we gave you some fundamental knowledge that is going to help you find the perfect board. There are some things to take into account that are super important like the type of terrain you want to explore or your activity. This way it will be easier to pick the correct type and shape of the board. Pay attention when picking out the size, be sure to measure the right way, especially if you are ordering online. When you get into the snowboard community and try a few different decks you will realize how important is the feeling you get with a specific board. Not all boards are made for everyone and although a certain board has all the perfect specs, it might just not work for you. So, do a bit of exploring, invest some time in searching and give our review another look to get an idea of what you want.

      FAQs

You can go really fast on your snowboard following one simple technique. The key is to maintain a good balance while keeping your weight forward. You also need to be aware of the terrain and make sure to keep your speed under control. If you are going too fast, you may lose your balance and fall.

The sidewall plays a crucial role in the overall performance of the snowboard, and it is important to choose the right material and construction for the type of riding you will be doing. There are two main types of sidewall construction: cap and sandwich. Cap construction is where the topsheet extends over the edge of the board, and the sidewall is made from a separate piece of material that is glued or laminated to the edge. Sandwich construction is where the topsheet and the sidewall are made from a single piece of material, with the edge sandwiched in between.

There are a few different materials that are commonly used to make snowboards. The most popular material is wood, which is used for the majority of snowboards on the market. Other materials that are used include carbon fiber, aluminum, and even plastic. The material that is used will generally depend on the type of snowboard that is being made. For example, freestyle snowboards are typically made with a softer material like wood, while racing snowboards are made with a harder material like carbon fiber.

When considering the purchase of a snowboard, the weight of the board is an important factor to keep in mind. Heavier boards can be more difficult to maneuver, particularly for beginner and intermediate riders. Conversely, lighter boards may not provide the same level of stability and control as heavier boards. The weight of the board is also a factor when considering tricks and jumps; a heavier board is more difficult to spin and flip.

Some of the most popular activities include half-pipe riding, big air tricks, and slopestyle riding. Half-pipe riding is a popular freestyle snowboarding activity. Riders perform tricks and stunts while riding up and down the walls of a half-pipe. This activity requires a lot of skill and practice. Big air tricks are another popular freestyle snowboarding activity. Riders perform tricks and stunts off of large jumps. This activity is very exciting and can be very dangerous.
